Since i am mostly recovered from the shock of it all i thought i would just tell you all about my weekend, starting with Friday 13th
13th of February is Rhys and my anniversary, this year we celebrated seven years together. Rhys surprised me with a weekend away at Bandusia country retreat, in McDonald Valley in the Yango national park
it was absolutely amazing up there (rained literately non-stop all weekend)we went on a ferry crossing which i have never experienced before and probably the nicest thing about the whole place was there was no mobile reception!
the meals were beautifully delicious home cooked country meals desert on Saturday was fresh homemade pecan pie using local produce from the pecan farms we passed on our way to the retreat.

but back to Friday night while innocently appreciating the wonderful efforts Rhys had gone to, to secretly whisk me away to a beautiful place in the bush, he pulls out a box..

a Natural Black Diamond, set in an 18k white gold ring Rhys designed for me. On either side of the 1.34 ct black diamond are two Celtic knots hand shaped and engraved into the ring by who i am told the jeweller refers to as 'a crazy old Irish man' it is beautiful and so me , i was stunned! still am a little ,
so there you have it Rhys and i are engaged !!!
