in adition to the below proposed project of a 'CONTESS ELIZABETH BATHORY' set
i was thinking about doing a vibrent but morbid- very theatrical 'DARK FAIRY TALES' series ,in an almost McFarlane style , the grusem truth behind the bed time stories, mixed a lil bit with the adult fantasy version.

also i was thinking these sets would be good to submit to a site like Zivity,
or make a good coffeetable book or 2010/or/2011 calender

ANYONE interested in hopping on board for these or the Bathory shoot let me know and i will start to organise it -also any prefered avilable days or times in the month where we can create a consistant working schedual would be good. i think i would like to keep a consistancey in style of photography or styling/make up for the sets

CONTESS
Somewhere in the middle of my increasingly busy life i would like to produce a set of images -
offering a TF* opportunity to any photographers, MUA, Models(female- sorry boys)interested
i am going to source along with sew the costume and styling for the idea myself so the shoot may take a couple months to plan -
in short i would like to portray the true darkness within women driven by the fear of aging sporned by social expectations and rejection, an age old coldness. A somewhat metaphorical display of the horrors we perform under the siege of jealousy. and a tribute the birth mother of Vampires!

have you ever heard the saying " behind every great man the is an even greater woman"
well here i would like to draw attention to the case of the historical and mythological characters of Dracula. for behind this truly horrific dark man there is an even darker more ruthless woman ..COUNTESS ELIZABETH BATHORY -who according to her own journal had killed 650 maidens for the sake of her vanity, before her arrest in 1610, where she was committed to solitary confinement in the tower of her own castle for the rest of her life. she is the truth behind the fable of the vampire Dracula, while parts of Bram Stokers 1897 "Dracula' image is believed to be borrowed from her cousin 'vlad the impaler' his crimes are nothing compared to the Turkish countesses, the characters unholy bloodlust belongs to a woman.
..i will save the other details of her story, however, for the unveiling of the shoot -

the shoot will be somewhere around historically based, macabre, fetish ,with some satirical current social knees to the nuts, as a not too modernised well hidden display of female nature at its gory core

i will need :
1. somewhere really awesome to set up a bath, dungeon, and bed - all which are able to become
stomach-turningly 'blood soaked'.
2. some enviably beautiful maidens, able to play virginal(or try)
3. a MUA with a twisted sense of drama - possibly a blood assistant.
4. a PHOTOGRAPHER who doesn’t mind spending the day with some freeked up bloody women

i would really value the input and creative expression of all interested in, and involved in the Bathory shoot

i am back in NSW now, it was a slow start but i really enjoyed WA and working with the talented photographers over there.

Colin Doust: i shot a few times while staying with Colin, he was very kind to have me crash at his house for the whole first week, and the night before my flight home.

Ken Taylor: i shot with Ken on Thursday the 5th mar. both indoor and outdoor.


Tony : MM#775893 - luvThatLatex. i had a most interesting experience with latex on Friday 6th mar. with a couple different outfits one including being entirely covered head to toe in latex and tied to a bondage chair, including a blow up hood with only a breathing tube.. very close to scuba breathing only you cant really hear and you cant see anything - no pickies yet, but i'll let you know when he posts some

Gary Edmonstone: i shot all day with Gary on Saturday 7th mar. we did some stuff outside before doing a set, in his steaming hot tin can garage turned studio, for Zivity , i am yet to join and sort out the submission of the set with Gary but will keep ya'll informed when it is up


Jon L Miller: [link] early start Sunday 8th with jon. we shot semi - nude in the empty streets allies and gardens in Perth in the early light. was lots of fun there is one image on his net model profile if you follow the link above

Monday i was off to Bunbury where i stayed with Tim Plint MM#319391, [link] Tim and his wife were very nice people and i shot (also in a tin can garage turn studio) with him on Wednesday. There was a lemon meringue pie involved along the lines , not with the shoot - lol
and a spontaneous quick finish the pie and get ready go shoot, Wednesday evening, with..

Bruce Jorgensen: MM#174635 WildChild Studio this was a case of call up at 4pm, you want to shoot at 6pm? only a couple hours lasted past 12MN and we had a blast.

then it was on to Yallingup , and last but far from least was the seemingly perpetual shoot with
John Miller,MM#117837 john picked me up from the bus stop on Thursday night and dropped me back Saturday morning - almost the entire time between then we were shooting or setting up to shoot. we got some really amazing stuff and i will get to posting what i can of that soon -
