i so named this image as it tends to remind me of the soft cold tear i shead helplessly in sympathy for hans christion andersons ' the mermaid' when she chooses to become the foam of the ocean over piercing the heart of her human love in which to be with him in the sea forever - the selfless sacrifice.
-prehaps because i hold the story close to my heart i am so fond of the reminance?!

i love the angle of this picture and the seeming absence of emotion which i acredit entirely to scott, a model is just a body it exists always but a photographer is an artist and captures not only moments or emotions but concepts of there own mind within the forms of there subjects .
